CASE REPORT SUMMARY:
9-1-1 received a call that Grant Russo was in need of medical attention. When EMTs arrived, they found him strapped to a table, chest cavity open, his heart missing. The victim regained consciousness, spoke and then died three minutes later. Dr. Bishop determined Russo had been the recipient of a prior heart transplant. A cross-state search of police records turned up multiple organ thefts over the preceding two months. The incidents took place in five different states, but the MO of the crime was consistent, and all stolen organs had originated from the same deceased donor, Amanda Walsh (17).
THE OBSERVER (on a communication device): "I have arrived. [...] Yes, I am looking at him as we speak. He is still alive."
