WITNESSES/CONTACTS: N/A

LOCATION: Worcester, MA; Andrews Avenue Bridge

VICTIM(S): Jill Redmond (deceased), Dave [redacted] (deceased), Ben McCalister (deceased), FBI agent [redacted] (deceased), Peter Bishop (in treatment)

CASE REPORT SUMMARY:

Official record: Jill Redmond was found dead inside her vehicle of a broken neck. The medical examiner found three puncture wounds in her soft palate.
Confidential report: The embryo of a Shapeshifter was found near Redmond's body and tested by Dr. Bishop in hopes of acquiring more information about the Shapeshifter's master plan in our universe. Dr. Bishop attempted to jump-start the embryo with electricity to engage its development but failed. Equations worked by Massive Dynamic and Dr. Bishop's lab determined there are rare moments of alignment between the universes, and one such moment was calculated for the following dat at 3:31 p.m. Dr. Bishop remembered that he and Dr. Bell used geometry and harmonic vibrations to reach the other side, and the Fringe team triangulated a location where Thomas Newton had set harmonic rods to open a gateway. The Bishops planned to activate a pneumatic hammer to negate Newton's procedure, cancelling the frequency to eliminate the gateway between universes. Peter Bishop and an agent were on the Bridge when the gateway opened, and the agent was obliterated. Peter Bishop was blown back and later reported he saw a man in the center of the Bridge.
